I couldn't agree more.
The Savage is more of a toy, not a motorcycle. It's something you could give a 14 year old to play with and not get too worried that he'll be in over his head. Of course, once he turns 16 he will want a motorcycle to ride.
Save your money folks. No need to customize a Savage when it will be worth less afterwards than a stock one.
What's the perception of the Savage in Europe? I know the laws are much different with regards to engine size and what you're allowed to ride without much experience.
